Alaska Children's Trust Fundraising Reception

Wednesday, August 17th at 5:30-7:00PM at 1 Doyon Pl, Fairbanks, AK 99701-2941

We know that children who grow up in safe and supportive homes and communities are much more likely to become capable and contributing adults. Most Alaskan children are growing up with these supports. Unfortunetly, many still do not. As the statewide lead organization, it is the mission of the Alaska Children's Trust (ACT) to prevent child abuse and neglect. Please join us for annual fundraiser to help us continue our efforts to keep all children in Alaska safe.

Suggested donation $100 (individuals), $500 (corporations) Challenge grant provided by Doyon, Limited

We will be honoring Julie Wild-Curry as a Champion for Kids.
For over 25 years, Julie Wild-Curry has been an advocate for Alaska’s children.  Throughout her career she has continued to fight for increased opportunities and funding for children and families during out-of-school time.  Through her dedication, Fairbanks has a strong out-of-school time network which has ensured families have the supports needed to reduce the likelihood of abuse and neglect.  Plus these programs have empowered children to have resilience and skills to manage traumas they are faced with every day.
