Marriage Certificates
Marriage Certificate | $65
First debuted in 2001, these heirloom-quality marriage certificates are available in three designs by Alaskan artists Dale DeArmond, Byron Birdsall and Rie Munoz. In addition to supporting Alaska Children’s Trust, these certificates are a wonderful way to commemorate one of the most important days in a couple’s relationship.
Birth Certificates
Birth Certificate | $55
These beautiful heirloom birth certificates are available for any person born in Alaska. There are two certificates to choose from: “Polar Bears” by Jon Van Zyle or “The Embrace” by Rie Munoz. Celebrate a little bundle of joy with a little piece of artwork or commemorate a birthday!
Purchase a Gift Certificate for Friends or Family in Alaska
Looking for a thoughtful and meaningful gift for an anniversary, newlyweds, a birth in the family, a birthday, or another special occasion? Purchase an heirloom marriage or birth certificate for anyone married or born in Alaska so they have a beautiful token and decorative piece to commemorate the day.
During purchase, select if we should mail the certificate to you or send it directly to the recipient in a gift envelope. Then, they will be able to choose one of the lovely certificate designs from the State of Alaska that benefits the children, youth, and families of our state through Alaska Children’s Trust.
Or Order Your Heirloom from Vital Statistics
Individuals can also directly order an heirloom birth or marriage certificate from Vital Statistics. Since these certificates are legal documents, for heirloom birth certificates, you must be the individual on the certificate or a parent or legal guardian to order. For marriage certificates, you must be one of the married individuals on the certificate to order. Birth certificates can be requested here. Marriage certificates can be requested here.
KID License Plate

The Alaska Children’s Trust KID plate was designed by an Unalakleet 5th grader, and offers an excellent way to show your support for Alaska’s kids! Learn more at the DMV. To purchase a KID's license plate, go online or to your local DMV office.
